As I count my blessings in life, I thank God for the kind of father He has given me both physically and Spiritually. One of my friends recently found out that my father is a minister and said "no wonder"
Just like other teenagers, I wanted to be wild early in life also, but I was prevented. Our morning devotion in those days was always a mixture of different kinds of emotions for me, I found out that God always revealed my bad plans and intentions to my father; each time the man comes to say "there is somebody here amongst my children, the lord said...." It was always me, and the fear of that alone kept me from various dangers.
When our Ministry started He had just few words for me, and they were really succinct. He simply said "don't deceive yourself, and don't let anyone deceive you"
This singular statement is the reason why each time I attend a meeting and mighty things happen there, I lay them all on the altar before leaving and I forget everything about the meeting before leaving there. I have been rescued from pride and self deception this way. There is nothing good anybody can say about me that I will think about twice, likewise the bad also.
Both physically and Spiritually, God has sorounded me with men that I fear. I have few friends, just three in all, each time I listen to them either in their teaching and corrections, I listen with all gravity, and it is also important that I do not break their flow when correcting me.
I have watched countless numbers of people who seemed invincible fall flat in humiliation, and in most cases, I observed that it is usually because they have no voice that they fear. This kind of fear is not the kind that terrifies you, but the kind that adjust you and tell you that you cannot afford to fail and miss it.
I have been saved from different temptations because I have voices over my life, I am not just accountable to God I am also accountable to them.
Be afraid if you don't have voices over your life that can make you adjust. You can't be the judge and jury of your life and succeed. This is a PROPHETIC WARNING.
