The heavenly realm is available to me here and now, but it is important for me to learn how to operate in the anointing of God, to see the power of God demonstrated.
Christ is the head of every believer. His anointing flows down to us (the body). Just like the oil flows down Aaron’s beard, we are the recipients of the anointing that flows from Christ, the Anointed One.
What is the anointing? Simply put, the anointing is the yoke destroying, burden removing power of God, dynamic in its working. Jesus needed the anointing to carry out His earthly ministry, and you and I need the anointing to live supernaturally.
I want to take a moment and highlight the importance of God’s precious anointing. You must understand the anointing in order to operate in the anointing.
Your level of understanding affects your level of recognition. One definition that I heard for the anointing is “the supernatural equipment to get the job done.” The anointing is meant to get results. Jesus got results!
The Bible says in Acts 10:38, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Notice that Jesus was anointed to do good .
The anointing causes you to operate in another realm (see Isa. 10:27). It is important for you to understand that you have already been anointed according to 1st John 2:27.
Even though we have been anointed already, we need faith to unlock it. Faith recognizes and releases the anointing. By faith, we release the anointing God has placed within us by the Holy Spirit.
You will find the greatest manifestation of the anointing when you do what you have been called and designed to do.
