Prophets are those called and chosen by God to be his mouthpiece on Earth and proclaim His will for His people and the world. Although Prophets are chosen and called by God, it is vital that each prophet be validated for the authenticity of their call as a Prophet/Prophetess, as such their are Prophets, they are also false Prophets and Prophetess, and as well as immature Prophets and Prophetess. (as we will share this month, alongside the difference between the gift of prophecy and the call of the Prophet)
Unfortunately they are many today who are fearful and reject the Prophet for multiple reasons, one is for many false and immature prophets whose mission is to see churches and cities fall (like Jonah, in Jonah 4:1-2) and others who believe that the gift of prophecy is done on the earth, however there are no indications of this in the Bible, the word teaches us not to despise prophecy (1 Thessalonians 5:20) #revival #holyspirit #prophetic
